Running a business isn’t just about the work you do; it’s about the life you’re building around it. For me, becoming a dad changed everything.

When my daughter was born, I knew I didn’t want to miss those early years. That was a huge reason I left policing and started JB Creative. It gave me the chance to be there for her, while also creating something meaningful for our future.

Of course, it’s not always easy. There are days when balancing jobs, paperwork, and family life feels like a juggling act. But then there are moments, like coming home from a long day of gardening and seeing her excitement, that make it all worth it.

I’ve found that running a business locally means I can plan my days around family life better. I get to work outdoors, meet people in the community, and still be home for the things that matter most.

That balance is something I’ll keep writing about here on the blog. Because while JB Creative is about property maintenance, landscaping, and training, it’s also about me trying to build a life that works for my family.

Thanks for following along,
